A nomadic millennial living slowly

More about
I am Khadydja NDOYE, a French Senegalese Canadian author who embarked on a transformative journey when I moved to the vibrant city of Toronto. In 2017, after experiencing a debilitating burnout, I stumbled upon the concept of slow and intentional living, which became the guiding philosophy of my life.

Embracing this lifestyle allowed me to shed the pressures of a fast-paced world and rediscover the joys of simplicity and mindfulness. As I delved deeper into this newfound way of life, I realized that it not only rejuvenated my spirit but also provided me with a deeper connection to my roots and heritage. It was during this time that I began to relish my life as a digital nomad, a lifestyle that enabled me to bridge the gap between my adopted home and my Motherland Africa.

My dedication to STEM, particularly in the field of robotics and hybrid education, has been a driving force in my life.

My debut book ‘The World of Sabbih’ based on my true story and experience in Zanzibar tells the beautiful and hopeful message of Sabbih, a young talented Zanzibar girl who wants to improve conditions on her island.
By using her knowledge, skills and talents, she demonstrates the power of S.T.E.M. that provides positive, life-changing solutions for many communities within her region.
